There will be a gathering of Hujan fans, called ‘Raingers‘ at Itudio Studio, Level 2, Kelana Mall this coming Sunday (21 June 2009). The event will start at 2pm and end at about 6pm. Besides meeting up with Hujan, fans will get to enjoy performances from Jayzuan (of Free Love), Joanna n Co., Awanband and also a special acoustic performance by Hujan themselves.

New Hujan t-shirts will be on sale as well so bring some extra cash (and a silver marker if you want to get it autographed by the band).

Entrance is FREE (as all good things are).

Rhythm of Unity

Rhythm of Unity Concert is organized by eBlitz Communication Sdn. Bhd. cooperating with Mahaka Entertainment Indonesia. This concert aims to create unity between Malaysians and Indonesians through music which presents Slank (IND), Letto (IND), One Buck Short (MAL), Bunkface (MAL), ESTRANGED (MAL), and Hujan (MAL) as the lineups.

The concert will be held at the Bukit Jalil Stadium carpark on the 23rd of May and will start from 5pm all the way till midnight. Tickets will cost RM55 though, you can purchase them from Axcess Ticketing (

There’s a 20% for VISA users, which will bring the ticket price down to RM45. Be quick!

Hujan finally held their very own showcase at Planet Hollywood on the 25th of October 2008. Tickets were priced at RM25 each. COCO and Free Love (who recently launched their album) were there to open for Hujan.


I guess I am late in posting this but there’s one more stop for the Levi’s Live Unbuttoned Nationwide Roadshow and that is at Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka on November 13th.

Hujan and Deja Voodoo Spells will be playing there so don’t miss it!!

Hujan will be holding their first ever showcase at Planet Hollywood this coming Saturday at 3pm.

Cover charge is RM25 and includes one drink. Coco and Free Love will be the opening acts for the day. Be sure not to miss it!


We went to Ruums to attend the Levis 501 Live Unbuttoned event right after the Xfresh X-gig (read more here: in Zouk. We saw the media registration desk and registered ourselves to get some media passes. After registration, the PR girls gave us some freebies and VIP tags instead of just mere media passes.


So, at around 9:45pm the emcee announced that Hujan was coming up next and the dance area which was empty from the beginning of the event was immediately filled up.

No prizes for guessing, it was obviously filled up with Hujan fans. I was there to, packing up my things at the VIP area upstairs and rushing downstairs to join the crowd at the dance floor. Band members started coming out with AG and Dukegong setting up their effects pedals and their guitars. Heck, Dukegong has a really nice shiny effects pedal cluster (for a bass player that is). And Dukegong has cut off
