There’s also a competition going on where you can win 2 tickets to the concert (plus a Zee Avi CD). All you have to do is snap a picture of item/items that is of great value to you and e-mail it to social_redtix@airasia.com with the subject “What Would YOU give contest entry“. Competition ends 11.59pm 18 March 2010. Winners (there will be 10 of them) will be announced on the 20th of March.

The catch? You will have to bring the item/items that you snapped and TRADE it for the concert tickets! AHA! So think before you snap. Make sure it is worth less than a Zee Avi CD and 2 concert tickets!

For more information on the competition, visit: http://www.airasiaredtix.com/Contests/wwyg/wwyg.aspx

And then, there’s a Twitter Competition, where 5 winners will walk away with 2 tickets and a Zee Avi CD. You will have to follow @redtix (http://twitter.com/redtix), and twit something that starts with @redtix I wanna go for Zee Avi cause… Check here for further information: http://www.airasiaredtix.com/Contests/twitter/twitter.aspx

The Sony World Photography Awards in Kuala Lumpur was launched on the 4th of February 2010 at the Petronas Galeri, KLCC. The exhibition will be held from the 4th of February till the 28th of March 2010. Entrance is free, but no photography is allowed in the exhibition hall.

The winners from each category (Commercial, sports, portraits, etc) are showcased in the exhibition. One particular photograph which caught my eye was Dustin Humphrey’s commercial photography for Insight. The photo shoot was done at Bali and features prominent surfers on the surface of the water with interesting subjects underwater.  Check out http://www.reelsessions.com/dustinhumphrey_insight.html for more information.

The Super Junior Official Ticket Launch was held on Saturday, 6 February 2010 at concourse level, Sungei Wang at 12pm. Concert tickets were sold with a 15% discount.

At the ticket launch, a dance group named Progression from MY SJ performed the dance hit “Sorry, Sorry”. There was also a dance workshop on-the-spot so that all fans can warm up to the song before the concert.

A lucky fan got invited on stage to perform the dance and won herself an RM238 ticket!

Breaking the record ticket sales of Asian concert in Malaysia, Super Junior, the 2nd Asia Tour “Super Show 2″ Live in Malaysia 2010, nearly 40% of the concert tickets were sold out in less than a week during the Ticket Pre-sale. RM138 and RM238 ticket categories were totally sold out. Especially RM138 ticket category was gone within 2 hours of the Pre-Sale itself. Fans started to queue at 7am and the queue lasted for 12 hours, an unseen ticket-grabbing phenomenon over the past decade.

Venue: One Cafe, Kuala Lumpur
Time: 3PM – 11PM
Date: 27th February 2010, Saturday

Oxygen Media, Frinjan and Envelove Distro with the support of My Future Foundation would like to offer you a deal you certainly won’t refuse. Introducing the indie band Efek Rumah Kaca of Jakarta fame, a band renowned for their socio-political or ‘sospol’ approach of addressing social issues, non-partisan politics as well as environmental issues through sweet pop melody and easy to swallow poetic lyrics, thanks to Cholil, the band’s frontman.

Global warming effect is no longer empty talks but it is now a reality presented upon us challenging the very existence of us indeed.

Freedom of varying form suffers similar fate. Political freedom, media and communication freedom as well as music freedom are usually subjected to aggression on the grounds of morality, public order and many more.
