Last Moonshine Of The Year

Do check out Laundry Bar this Thursday night (11 December 2008) for some Moonshine goodness. The event will start at 9.30pm and admission is free. The line up is really interesting indeed, featuring artists from all over the globe, and our very own included as well. Emmet (vocalist of Butterfingers) will be performing a solo acoustic set. Heck, how can you miss that?

Music Against Racism was held on the 16th of November 2008 at KL Tower and was organised by Vain Music (). It was scheduled to start at 12pm until 10pm. I planned to go at 2pm but it started raining heavily so I waited until 4pm where the rain started to slow down.

By then time I reached KL Tower, the rain already stopped and according to the organisers

Livesounds Indie Rock Fest

What is Livesounds Indie Rock Fest actually? Well, it is a series of gigs organised by SpeedZone Entertainment which features Indonesian and local bands. It consists of 3 gigs, all of which will be held at various venues around Kuala Lumpur. Tickets are free, you just need to visit the website (http://www.livesounds.com.my) and register to get them (venue cover charge applies though)

XFM’s 6th XGig was held at Rum Jungle, Ipoh on the 22nd of November 2008. Rum Jungle is located at the car park of The Lost World of Tambun, at Sunway City Ipoh. I was invited by Loy of XFM to tag along and also to take some photographs of the event.

The event was scheduled to start at 2pm but the crowd came slightly earlier despite the hot sun shining brightly through the clear skies. The Street Surfers were giving away
