It seems that kenchill was a lot faster to write about my new camera than I was… But since I’m so in luuurrveee with my new camera I just have to write about it too!

I got my camera early last week and kenchill, ah_mei and sitihawadingin and I went to the Section 14 bazaar Ramadan to test it out as well as buy some goodies for buka puasa.

Naturally, the first stall we went to was the bunga api store! Unfortunately by the time we came the guy selling it had finished a lot of his stock so we just ended up buying some pop-pop and bumblebees. Kenchill had actually written about it earlier in his post  Another A300

And what is a post about a bazaar ramadan without the requisite ayam percik shot? I’m still learning how to use the camera and my computer is a bit outdated (so I can’t really edit the pics well) so you’ll have to bear with this shot.

There was also a stall selling a whole lamb! Definitely the first time I’ve ever seen something like that at a bazaar Ramadan! Certainly looks delicious though, especially if you’ve been fasting the whole day.

And how can we forget about the kuih-muih? No buka puasa can be considered proper if it lacks kuih lapis, kuih bakar etc etc. Good thing they’ve got all that covered there.

I suppose it’s a bit late for you to go to the Sect 14 Bazaar Ramadan to buy any of these delicious goodies (seeing as Ramadan ended last week..) , but hey, there’s always next year! And for the next one month, we get to gorge ourselves silly on other things like lemang, ketupat, rendang, serunding and other artery clogging food

Oh, and for all you anak-anak yang beraya di perantauan, here are a few pics of the amazing Hari Raya spread at my grandmother’s house. Sumpah korang mesti jeles gile! Maaf Zahir Batin!
