Konsert Pesta Malam Indonesia 2

The second Konsert Pesta Malam Indonesia is coming soon and it will be held at the Equestrian Park at Mont Kiara on the 16th of August 2008. I prefer open air venues as the sound is more open (thus avoiding ringing ears), fresher air as compared to smoke infested indoor venus and more space to roam about. The only thing about outdoor venues is that there’s the risk of rain (of which I got poured on during the Dream Theater concert at Fort Canning in Singapore last year).

Hey, we have 2 of our local bands playing instead of just all Indonesian bands. And it’s your rare chance to catch Sheila on 7 live in Malaysia!

The concert will begin with opening acts by Hujan, and Meet Uncle Hussain, two bands that have received great support from Malaysian music lovers, and are sure to liven up the crowd before the main acts take center stage. Konsert Pesta Malam Indonesia 2 will feature Peterpan, Ungu, Samsons, Slank, Sheila on 7, and Dewi Dewi. So whether it’s pop rock, alternative rock, or just plain old school rock, there’ll be something that will tickle your fancy.
